I love painting shirts. To me, it's the smallest effort with the best results. I just painted this one with some Valentine's inspiration. I'm going to sew lace ruffles on the butt next.

Chore Charts
I got this idea from pinterest a couple of days ago (Okay, it was Sunday night, when I was sooo mad that kid#2's room was still not clean, even though I did half, Dad did half, and 1/2 + 1/2 should equal a whole clean room) when I searched for "Kids chores." Yes, I was desperate. No, I didn't think it would work. Verdict- It worked so well, that I made other ones for: the living room, the bathroom, the morning routine, the dining room, and so on and on and on. One day, kid#1 came home from school and said "Where's my chore sheet?" I was so excited i helped him clean the living room. So, try it. It worked for me and I LOVE them.
If you'd like a copy, feel free to email me at -familyhoff@gmail.com and I will send you a copy. It took me a few hours to put them together in excel, and If I could have taken them and just adjusted a few things, I would have.
Earring Display/Holder Frame
I actually made this before christmas, I've been looking for ways to use this huge pile of lace I got from a grandmother. I started making it with lace trim, strung from side to side. But, it just looked really frilly(?) with the lacey frame and the strings of lace. So instead, I staple-gunned this sheet of lace to the top frame. Although that did make it stay really tightly, it looked terrible... so I ended up using the other frame to make a second one for the back, to cover the uglyness. I think it's easier to stick earrings on it this way anyhow, it sticks out from the wall just a bit. I hot-glued #2 to #1, with a ribbon in between, and voila! Oh, the frames are painted black also, honestly because that was the can of spray paint that was available, and I didn't feel like painting yet ANOTHER christmas present...

Crafty Crafterson
Here's a little blurb to get started- I love making crafts, I love babies and kids, and I have lots of time on my hands. That equals a lot of art projects in my house. Mostly, a lot of homemade crafts geared to kids. But I like a good painting as much as the next Mom, So, I decided to share all of it with everyone.
I'm a pretty imaginative person. I have 3 kids, so I think I have no choice there. Sometimes, I come up with the greatest ideas, or fixes, or whatever. Sometimes I think I came up with the best idea, annnnnd come to realize, maybe not so much... So, I look through pinterest... Okay, fair to say I'm addicted to pinterest (Dawn Hoff on Pinterest), and I want to make everything on it! Some things though, I just think it would be easier to buy... and maybe say I did it myself. So, in that spirit, I will make crafts. And I will sell them. And I will tell you exactly how, step-by-step, I did it, so you can make that decision for yourself.
Fair warning: I am trying to make money. Fair trade: I'm not trying to get over on anyone. I think a fair price is in order for everybody. That being said, if you like something, buy it! If you think it's too much, say so! I'll either reason with you or the price. All in all, thank you for checking my blog out.
